“I survived by accident. I remember by choice.”

A powerful new solo play from Royal Marines veteran-turned-actor Tip Cullen, Brothers is a raw and unflinching reckoning with war, loss, memory and the bonds that can outlast death.

Haunted by voices and dying eyes, Cullen holds the line. He carries eight men with him every day - men whose lives ended, but whose presence never left him. Their absence shapes his present as profoundly as their presence shaped his past.

Through one man's journey from Belfast to the Royal Marines and, ultimately, to the stage, Brothers explores how the battlefield doesn't end when you come home. It asks what it means to remember, what it costs to carry the dead and whether storytelling can offer a way to live alongside loss.

Cullen brings these men back into the room - live, breathing and immediate - inviting the audience to witness their humanity, their brotherhood and the weight of their absence.

At its heart, Brothers is an act of remembrance and connection: a story of the bonds forged in war and the enduring responsibility to those who never made it home.
