Ensemble OrQuesta returns to The Cockpit in 2026 for the seventh consecutive season, bringing imaginative opera productions, performed by the company's actor-singers with minimalist staging and a strong focus on physical theatre and acting.
This season, they will bring three productions, including two completely new productions by Marcio da Silva.
The company's 2024 production of 'Le Nozze di Figaro' has received a 5-star review from 'Plays to See'. Their 2021 production of Handel's 'Alcina' was No. 4 in 'The Best of Classical Music in 2021' in The Observer, and their production of Monteverdi's Poppea was a finalist at the 2021 Offies Awards.
