Ensemble OrQuesta returns to The Cockpit in 2026 for the seventh consecutive season, bringing imaginative opera productions, performed by the company's actor-singers with minimalist staging and strong focus on physical theatre and acting.
The company's 2024 production of 'Le Nozze di Figaro' has received a 5-star review from 'Plays to See'. Their 2021 production of Handel's 'Alcina' was No. 4 in 'The Best of Classical Music in 2021' in The Observer, and their production of Monteverdi's Poppea was a finalist at the 2021 Offies Awards.
This season, they will bring three productions including a baroque opera double-bill.
