Who could benefit from this session?
Everyone is welcome: experienced and beginner playwrights; poets; devisers working on dramaturgy; novelists; critics; screenwriters; theatremakers and theatremutts. If you would like to write something in a focused communal environment, come along.
How does it work?
Rock up to the café and bar, choose your drink and writing spot, prepare your implements of choice, and write.
For 3 hours it's focused library vibes and then if you'd like to chat, meet other writers and maybe share work, the café and bar will remain open.
What do you gain?
Rock Up & Write is time and space for writers to focus and write side by side. When you book your ticket you get a space to work in our café and bar and a free coffee, tea, or soft drink. We think of it a bit like a writing gym: when you pay in advance, it's a commitment to yourself to show up and focus away from distractions at home, surrounded by likeminded theatremakers.
