The White Lotus is a bilingual xiěyì performance exploring the legacy of Dai Ailian and a contemporary British-Chinese artist. Drawing on shadow puppetry, Chinese theatre, and water-ink painting, it re-evaluates heritage through identity, memory, and cultural belonging across time.
