Join Sharon, best friend Debs and an unlikely bunch of misfits as they set out to discover the truth about the shape of the world — and, along the way, their place in it.
Sharon Hargreaves is disconnected from her friends, her family, and herself – spending her days lost in an online community of people who believe Earth is flat. When she decides to finally visit a Flat Earth convention in Vegas, in a moment of mistaken identity, she is propelled on an incredible journey to (literally) the end of the earth… with hilarious, heartbreaking, and heartwarming consequences.
This musical uses the 'flat earth' theory as a lens to explore something bigger: misinformation, belonging, and what we do when we're at our lowest. With wit, heart, and a truly unforgettable score, The Shocking Truth About Flat Earth offers audiences both laughter and a mirror. It's farcical and funny... but with a heart.
