An Aviator crash-lands in the Sahara Desert, where he meets the Little Prince; a planet hopping innocent who teaches him the secret of what really matters in life. The Little Prince takes us on a magical journey through the solar system to meet a host of eccentric characters who demonstrate the beauty and folly of humanity. In the tender bond formed with a wise and caring fox the true heart of the story is revealed.

A poignant exploration of the transformative power of connection, and the profound impact of love on the human spirit. This story holds a special place in the hearts of millions across the world. Share the magic with your family at The Cockpit in April 2025.

The Little Prince is one of the most popular books of all time and has been translated into over 300 languages since its publication 75 years ago. Styled as a children's story, this multi-layered fable will entrance children and grown-ups alike.

Audience and Press Reactions:

I don’t know who enjoyed the show more - me or the children. It was wonderful theatre. Really imaginative. Both children were entranced. - A grown-up with children (8 & 10 years old)

I absolutely loved this show! Don’t be deceived into thinking it’s just for children. There’s beautifully staged spectacle, engaging performances and illuminating ideas – more than enough to satisfy the grownups too! - Martin South, actor/director

Simply magical. My four year old sat spellbound with his mouth hanging open for the whole show! - a grown-up audience member

I loved it and I want to come again. My favourite was the man who says good morning and good evening - A blind 15 year-old

The use of light, movement and sound worked together to engage the audience's senses in a way that made us forget the limits of the space and the cast, to the point where I began questioning if the cast had cloned itself and the space had somehow magically extended. - Clara Goilav, STRAND Magazine
