ABOUT THE PROJECT:

This summer, Dendê Collective invites you to be part of something joyful, creative, and community-driven. Over two weeks in August, we’ll transform Penfold Community Hub into a free, open-access creative workspace where you’ll:

Help design and build a series of giant papier-mâché masks as part of a creative team!

Support costume creation and bring the visual world of the project to life!

Learn how to bring masks to life through physical theatre and performance!

Perform in a joyful public street celebration in Church Street Market!

Workshops are relaxed, drop-in friendly, and designed for all levels. You can join at any point and attend as many sessions as you like.

DATES & TIMES
Workshops: Monday 18 August – Friday 29 August, 12:30–4:30 PM

Final Street Performance: Saturday 30 August (afternoon – exact time TBC)

You don’t need to book for specific dates — just turn up when you can!
