Join the North Paddington Canalside festival taking place across four weekends in September 2025!
The North Paddington Canalside Festival will liven up the public space alongside the canal under the Westway flyover, as well as to the west in the grassy area in front of Westbourne Park Bus Garage.
The festival will be a vibrant, community-driven celebration designed to build long-term connection to the canal through awareness, ownership, and joy.
It invites local people to explore the canal’s history and ecology, empowers them to care for and engage with the space, and celebrates its potential through arts, nature, and water sports.
The festival will provide local community-run activities across four weekends in September 2025:
Saturday 6 September, biodiversity theme – 10am-5pm
Saturday 13 September, health and wellbeing theme – 10am-3pm
Saturday 20 September, culture and creativity theme – 10am-5pm
Weekend of 27 and 28 September, finale weekend – 10am-5pm
We want to create a new destination ahead of the permanent public space improvements. These permanent improvements will transform a dark, underutilised site into an inviting place where all are welcome.
The entire festival programme is free.
Take a look at what’s on and reserve your ticket in advance here , as spaces are limited.
