NEW STUFF

Our monthly night of rehearsed readings. Join us for the opportunity to see exciting new work and engage in conversation with other writers, creatives, and theatre-goers.

We are excited to be hosting additional afternoon sessions at 1.45pm in October and December. Each event is ticketed separately, so please ensure you check which reading you are attending.

Coming Up: Sunday 7 December - 5.30pm

CUES
by Julian Shatkin

A one-act play about two actors backstage on opening night. Discover their relationship and follow them through the inspiration, terror, and love that comes with stepping out onto the stage.

and

HELENA AND HERMIA
by Dora Gawn-Hopkins

Drawing on the wonderful wildness of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night's Dream, this play seeks to go further, celebrating a host of female voices he and history ignored.

Helena and Hermia find themselves at the biggest Y11 house party yet. Across the room, Hermia spots her crush Lysander, who’s dragged his friend Demetrius along. Cue adolescent angst, not-so-grownup grown-ups, and magical mayhem, as this iconic female friendship finally takes the spotlight, on a night that will change it forever.

Tickets are £3 with an optional donation at checkout.

New Stuff finishes at approximately 7.45pm, but we welcome all to join us for continued conversations in the bar downstairs.

Tickets are strictly limited, so booking in advance is highly recommended. Please note that the event takes place in one of our studio spaces, which is only accessible up a spiral staircase.
