Ashley Blaker is back on BBC Radio 4, following up on his hit family comedy, 6.5 Children, with a brand-new series Ashley Blaker's Hyperfixations.

One of the most significant aspects of Ashley’s neurodiversity is his propensity for hyperfixation. His entire life, he now realises, has been shaped by his obsessive special interests, and what better way to come to terms with this than through comedy?

Ashley has variously been a schoolboy with an obsessive love of ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Doctor Who’; a wannabe comedian who performed on the London comedy circuit at age16; a trivia nerd who appeared on ‘University Challenge’; a wrestling fanatic who would do anything to see the Ultimate Warrior take on Hulk Hogan; a history PhD candidate at Cambridge; a ardent football fan who saw Liverpool play across England and Europe; a strictly Orthodox Jew who went to synagogue three times a day for over 10 years; a father of six; and latterly, a tattoo collector quickly running out of space on his body to ink.

In these recordings for Radio 4, Ashley is joined by Rosie Holt (recently seen in Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy) and Kieran Hodgson (Two Doors Down, Prince Andrew: The Musical) to explain and explore his particular and sometimes peculiar fixations.

The show tapes on Tuesdays 22nd & 29th April 2025
