An impassioned, heartfelt ensemble with dynamic extremes fusing jazz, cinematic, rock music, with composition. Compelling in its navigation through electronics and the acoustic. Tomasz Bura, a pianist, composer, and music producer, is distinguished by his unique fusion of classical intensity and improvisational originality. Tomasz's musical journey began in Poland, where he honed his skills in classical piano under the guidance of masters. However, his true passion for improvisation emerged at a young age, when Tomasz turned his mistakes into original compositions and improvisations, a passion that continued to develop during late-night jam sessions in jazz clubs. His band, Tomasz Bura Group, was often invited to perform at Ronnie Scott's in London and at festivals across the UK. Since moving from Poland to London in 2011, Tomasz has performed at prestigious festivals such as the London Jazz Festival, Jazz à Vienne, and many others, and has toured extensively across Europe, Asia, and Africa. His performances on platforms such as BBC1, JAZZ FM, MTV, and TSF JAZZ have solidified his reputation as an innovative force in contemporary improvised music.
Collaborations with a diverse range of musicians like Harvey Mason, Wretch 32, Guthrie Govan, Rouhangeze, Nathaniel Townley and members of bands like Massive Attack, Incognito, Jamiroquai, Level 42, and many others, have given Tomasz experience in various musical styles and versatility, allowing him to move freely between different musical genres. He is also known for his bold approach to improvisation and challenging traditional piano conventions.
When not performing with the Tomasz Bura Group, he divides his creative interests between composing contemporary piano and orchestral pieces for CRD Records in the UK and creating cinematic soundscapes for Los Angeles-based Position Music. On stage, Tomasz’s intensity shines through his spontaneous improvisations, often using innovative tools like the Expressive E Osmose synthesizer to deconstruct and revolutionize piano traditions. His performances, whether solo piano suites or immersive soundscapes, consistently attract new followers worldwide, showcasing his passion for bold inventions and sonic exploration.

Rouhangeze, also known as RŪḤ, is a Mauritian-born, London-based multifaceted artist who began her journey as a child prodigy. Raised in Mauritius, she showed exceptional musical talent from a very young age, immersing herself in the island's rich rhythmic tapestry. This early start laid the foundation for her diverse musical abilities. Now established as a vocalist, songwriter, music producer, radio presenter, vocal therapist, and cultural ambassador, Rouhangeze's music, described as genre "non-binary," by Elliot Moss (JazzFM) fuses Mauritian rhythms with London's diverse musical landscape, spanning jazz, soul, and beyond.
Rouhangeze is known for her versatile vocal abilities, improvisational skills, and emotionally charged performances. Live and studio collaborations include Linley Marthe (The Joe Zawinul Syndicate), Omar Hakim (Weather Report, Dire Straits) Rachel Z (Wayne Shorter, Peter Gabriel, Marcus Miller), Bernard Maseli (The Globetrotters) , Guthrie Govan (Hans Zimmer, The Aristocrats), Aref Durvesh ( Sting, Susheela Rahman), Bernhard Schimpelsberger (Trilok Gurtu, Anoushka Shankar) , Eric Appapoulay (Yusuf Cat Stevens, Sona Jobarteh) and Telemakus. A significant collaboration in Rouhangeze's career is with pianist-composer Tomasz Bura. Together, they formed "The Tomasz Bura Group" (previously known as "The Scientists"), creating what's been described as "hard-hitting fusion á la Chick Corea or Ursula Dudziak, with vocal improv from the enchanting Rouhangeze Baichoo, reframed for today." This project has been hailed as one of the most exciting bands on the British jazz scene.
Since moving to London in 2009, Rouhangeze has collaborated with renowned artists and performed at prestigious venues worldwide. She hosts the award winning show "Jazz Travels " on JazzFM and "SoundShift" on OneJazz radio. Notable achievements include representing Mauritius at international events such as the 2023 G20 in India as a singer and performer, being featured in Steinberg Media Technologies' campaigns, and inclusion in the She Said So - Alternative Power 100 Music List. She is part of leading UK choir, the London Contemporary Voices choir and has recorded for major artists such as ABBA, Nitin Sawhney, Jools Holland and Wolf Alice. Her collaborations span various genres, showcasing her adaptability and musical depth.
