This is not a Virginia Woolf bio-play. It is funny, painful, and unlike anything you’ve seen—with a little bit of rage.

Devised by an all-migrant ensemble, Woo Woolf is a multilingual fever dream and playful protest.
Three Marys—an oracle, a dancer and a translator—travel across time, language, and metaphor to meet Woolf in memory, mischief, and mushroom stews.
She hears voices. She dances through dreams. She translates what can't be said.
Tracing gendered histories, fading mother tongues, and everyday rituals of care, the piece weaves movement, poetry, dreamscapes, and a surreal cooking show into a fragile tableau of theatrical vignettes.

Produced by Ensemble Not Found (ENF), a collective of first-generation ESEA artists, Woo Woolf gently unsettles fixed narratives while asking: if translation can’t hold us together, could food or poetry?
