Theatre in The Pound: February
Produced and presented by The Cockpit as part of Theatre Maker
THEATRE IN THE POUND
16 February, 7:00 pm
A not-for-profit scratch night, designed for individuals or groups of performers to try out or showcase 10-15 minutes of new work at The Cockpit.
MUSE By Millie Small
“I think all a muse has ever wanted is to feel seen.”
CLOSURE CABARET By Maria Ansdell
A solo clown show led by ever-optimistic emcee Razmatastic (Maria Ansdell’s French-accented alter ego). In a glittering cabaret of heartbreak, she resurrects a lifetime of exes – from playground pirates to swaggering cowboys and pompous poets – for their final bow. Blending character comedy, music, and audience play, this vaudevillian spoof is part parody, part emotional exorcism, and a high-energy search for closure.
