At the edge of ecological collapse, HUELLA (imprint) unfolds around an ambiguous waterfall carrying the memory of water, somewhere between an altered present and a future archive, within a liminal landscape of technofossils.

The waterfall narrates its own transformation and the histories of human and more-than-human lives that have inhabited its landscape. A body gradually discovers their traces. What remains of a waterfall when the water itself may have disappeared?

Through eco-poetic symbolism, the danced performance-installation of flamenco and textural soundscapes traverses dissonant yet porous, solastalgic bodies and landscapes, and explores the sensory memory of water, its transformation and absence.
Lorca’s poetry runs as an undercurrent.

Isadora is a French-Tunisian artist and researcher working across movement, performance and installation. Her practice draws on club culture dance forms such as Vogue and Arms Control, flamenco aesthetics, improvisation and somatics. Her work has previously received support from The Place, Instituto Cervantes, English National Ballet’s Shared Ground Space scheme.
