Blocks Falling: The Tetris Musical is a comedy epic about capitalism, video games and the inescapable relationship between money and art.

In 1984, a Soviet engineer creates a video game in his free time. When it’s discovered by a foreign salesman who attempts to distribute it worldwide, the door is kicked opened between the communist USSR and the international market, endangering the life of its creator and setting in motion a series of complex legal disputes, outrageous corporate espionage and an all-out war between titans of industry. 

After presenting the musical at BEAM 2025, Rat Hands Theatre is thrilled to bring Blocks Falling to life at The Cockpit.

This is a Work-In-Progress performance, so the band will be just piano, actors with have scripts in their hands, and there will be minimal set and tech.
