Producing & Budgeting for Your Show

Make It All Add Up

Who could benefit from this course?
This workshop is ideal for artists who are self-producing or are beginning to take on more responsibility in managing their projects. It’s especially useful for those who want to better understand how to forecast income, manage costs, and navigate the complexities of funding and ticketed income.

How does it work?
This 90-minute course will be delivered through a conversational format. We will take a practical approach to building a flexible budgeting template in Excel, which you can adapt for future projects. There will be space for questions and discussion, so participants can share their own challenges and learn from each other’s experiences.

What do you gain?

  • An overview on how to get started with a budget for a production
  • A dynamic, user-friendly budgeting template that you can tailor to suit any project
  • A chance to connect with a peer group of other self-producing artists, offering you a supportive space to ask questions and share knowledge
